Description: Many people think the 1984 film version of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' is the best, not only because of the famous cast but due to the wonderful scenery too. Fortunately Shrewsbury has many medieval and victorian buildings so the cast dressed in 19th century costume easily fitted in. Here we can see St Mary's street with the parade in the background.
