Resolution steam engine, Coalbrookdale

Description: This watercolour was painted by John Homes Smith. This giant steam engine stood where the Coalbrookdale Inn is today, until 1821. This engine was a large steam pumping engine called Resolution, which operated in Coalbrookdale for 40 years.
