Caus Castle

Date: 2003

Description: The earthworks and buried walls of Caus Castle survive well after being abandoned 500 years ago. The ditch is rock-cut, that is cut into the natural bedrock. There are also the remains of two towers and a stone entrance. (Photograph by Dr Paul Stamper).
