Stokesay Castle

Date: 2003

Description: Stokesay Castle is one of the earliest fortified manor houses in the country and was first built in the late 13th century. However, this photograph shows two later features, the castle's north tower and the 17th century, Jacobean gatehouse which stands in front of the castle.
