Battlefield college fishponds

Date: 2003 Description: This photograph shows the overgrown and waterlogged remains of the fish ponds once attached to Battlefield College on the grounds of Battlefield Church. They were used to store and rear fish for the college kitchens. They can be seen on the route of the circular walk around the Battlefield Heritage Park supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Shropshire County Council.
